Introduction to Tarot Workshop

The 78-card tarot deck has two distinct parts the Minor & Major Arcanas which together take us on a fascinating journey through our spiritual growth.

Many people are interested in learning how to read the cards, but often find it difficult or confusing to learn from any of the many instruction books available because every book seems to give different “meanings” for each card. This is because each author gives their personal interpretation. This workshop will teach you how to read the cards intuitively, so that you do not need to learn and memorise interpretations. We will do this by looking at the numerology, symbology, colours, and actions of the characters in the cards.

The workshop requires that you bring with you a Rider-Waite Tarot deck, notebook and pen. There will be hands on readings through each stage of the workshop, and you will be enabled to give a very accurate basic tarot reading once you do the workshop.

This course aims to teach beginners or those who have a limited knowledge of the tarot and will only deal with the Minor Arcana. If time permits there will be a brief introduction to the Major Arcana, which will be covered in depth in a subsequent workshop.
